Description: The Godfrey Brown Theatre and Performing Arts Building will replace the existing theatre which we be demolished to make way for the new purpose-built theatre and music centre.

The completed project will include a main auditorium space with a seating capacity for 248 persons, incorporating an area of retractable seating to provide an orchestra pit.  New sound and lighting control systems will serve a new stage area and side wings with associated backstage facilities, including a  drama studio, rehearsal / exam room, changing spaces, music teaching spaces, classrooms and instrument storage. Public spaces will include the main foyer space with box office, cloaks and servery facilities, a new  Green room and toilets.  The new building is designed to function as a school on a day-to-day basis and as a contemporary theatre space when staging public performances.
