Description:
A scheme for two new classrooms, an extended existing classroom, the creation of an IT suite, a refurbished classroom and improvements to the staff area. New classrooms are naturally lit and ventilated with direct access to external teaching/play areas. The roof is a stainless steel standing seam system on laminated timber beams.

This scheme provided a cover and reworking of a courtyard and a new extended food technology room.
NEW CLASSROOM AND TEACHING AREA
AT HIMBLETON C of E FIRST SCHOOL

Description:
This scheme provided a replacement classroom and a teaching area and other accommodation. The extension is built into the bank and created a sheltered circular external seating and teaching area. Large glazed doors extend the classroom into the outside space and the rooms are naturally lit and ventilated whilst being shaded from excess solar gain. The roof is sedum with brick and cedar walls with composite aluminium/timber windows.
APPLIED SCIENCE LABORATORY
TENBURY WELLS HIGH SCHOOL

Description:
The Laboratory was an essential element of the school obtaining specialist science status. Other aspects of the contract included learning resource, community facilities, disabled provision and improvements to staff facilities. This was the third project undertaken by Lett + Sweetland at this school. We have since completed improvements to the entrance area and bus bay.

Description:
An extension for four classrooms and enclosed link to Pinvin Middle School.
The designs provide acoustically controlled naturally lit and ventilated classrooms.
Each classroom opens out to a covered, defined external space.
