EXTENSION TO THE TALBOT AT KNIGHTWICK OPENED NOVEMBER 2011. ENTERED FOR AN ARCHITECTS' JOURNAL SMALL PROJECTS AWARD
December 2011

Refurbishment, redevelopment and fit out of the student union building at The University of Worcester completed autumn 2011, on time and on budget. A design and build project for Speller-Metcalfe.

Completed autumn 2012, opening February 2012, the Knapp visitor centre for the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.

 

 

BENNETTS ICE CREAM FACTORY
July 2011

Planning and Conservation Area Approval granted for an extension to Bennetts Ice Cream factory, Manor Farm, Worcester April 2011

Work to start on site in May/June 2011 on the Knapp visitor centre for the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.

Following the completion of the Sixth Form Centre Extension at Waseley Hills High School and Sixth Form Centre, work is started on site in April 2011on the Autism and Diploma Bases at the school.

Planning and Listed building Approval granted for new garden room extension to the renowned coaching inn, the Talbot at Knightwick, Worcestershire. Work is due to start on site in June 2011.

Lett + Sweetland appointed for the alteration and refurbishment of Physics laboratories at Shrewsbury School, January 2011.

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY CRICKET CLUB

Two exciting developments at Worcestershire County Cricket Club:

Planning Approval obtained for phase 2 development including a 120 bedroom hotel on 16.07.2009 and the opening of the Graeme Hick Pavilion by Dr. Mervyn King on 30.06.2009.

MOUNT PLEASANT FARM TEACHING UNIT
5 November 2009

Opening of Mount Pleasant Farm Teaching Unit for The Worgan Trust on 12.10.2009.

The teaching unit is attached to Mount Pleasant Farm, a working dairy farm. School children enjoy a whole day of activities feeding hens and sheep, collecting eggs, watching the cows being milked, inspecting hedgerows and learning about the realities and ecology of farming. The building features many sustainable features such as: reed bed drainage, rainwater harvesting, air sourced heat pump, underfloor heating, external insulation and low maintenance Siberian larch boarding.

TWO EXCITING NEW PROJECTS ON SITE

Worcestershire County Cricket Club… new Graeme Hick Pavilion… phase one of the redevelopment of WCCC started on site October 2008.

Apex 12 Office development at Colchester… 5,050m2 (54,360ft2) of new offices in units ranging from 101m2 to 621m2… Lett + Sweetland were the design architects for this project.
